We are excited to announce the launch of our upcoming Shibari retreat, hosted at a stunning walled riad hidden away in the bustling city of Marrakech. Over the course of five days, immerse yourself in the transformative practice of Shibari. This retreat is an opportunity to escape from the complexities of daily life and create an intentional space for play, relaxation, and connection. We aim to give you the fundamental building blocks of Shibari so you can take some of the peace and tranquillity home with you.

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is ideal for couples looking to explore Shibari and the nuanced techniques of this type of play in a sensuous and supportive environment. With a focus on intimacy and somatic connection through ropes, it is perfect for those wishing to deepen their physical bond and master foundational Shibari techniques. You don’t need any prior experience, but any background in related practices is a plus.
Whether you're coming as a couple or as friends, the retreat's syllabus will cover Themes of Intimacy and eroticism, and guests must be comfortable exploring these aspects together. It offers a unique opportunity to explore intimacy and dynamic play together. However, if you are an individual and interested in joining, we welcome you to register as well.
We like to keep things intimate, so the Retreat is limited to 6 couples

With its traditional Moroccan architecture, lush courtyards, and intricately tiled Pool, the Riad blends rich cultural heritage with modern elegance. Sun-dappled terraces and private alcoves provide serene spaces for reflection, while the airy rooftop offers breath taking views of the medina and surrounding landscapes. Every detail—from the hand-carved woodwork to the aromatic gardens—invites guests to unwind and find balance, creating a tranquil environment where body and mind can unite in harmony.

Terms & Conditions
1. General Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern the payment process, cancellation policy, and participant obligations for the 4-Day Shibari Intensive Retreat (the "Retreat") scheduled from January 21st to January 25th in Marrakech, Morocco. By registering for the Retreat, you (the “Participant”) agree to comply with these terms.
2. Payment Structure
Total Cost of Retreat: €1600 per participant.
This fee includes accommodation, meals (as outlined in the retreat itinerary), workshops, classes and evening events.
The cost does not include transportation to and from Morocco, personal expenses, or additional purchases such as alcoholic beverages or optional activities outside of the Retreat.
2.1 Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of €800 is required to secure your place at the Retreat.
This deposit must be paid at the time of registering
2.2 Remaining Balance
The remaining balance must be paid in full by January 1st 2025
Failure to complete the payment by the deadline may result in the forfeiture of your spot and the non-refundable deposit.
Payments can be made via bank transfer. Details will be sent to guests at an appropriate time
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances may change. However, due to the costs involved in organizing the Retreat, the following cancellation and refund policy applies.
3.1 Cancellation by Participant
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the Retreat start date (before November 21st, 2023):
You will be eligible for a refund of any payments made minus the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made 30-60 days before the Retreat start date (between November 21st and December 21st, 2023):
You will be eligible for a 50% refund of the balance paid minus the deposit).
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the Retreat start date (after December 21st, 2023):
No refund will be provided.
4. Transfer of Registration
If you are unable to attend but wish to transfer your registration to someone else, you must notify us at least 30 days before the Retreat start date (by December 21st, 2023). We will facilitate the transfer. However, it is your responsibility to find a replacement participant. Transfers made less than 30 days before the Retreat are not guaranteed.
5. Travel and Health Insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical expenses, and any unforeseen incidents during the duration of your trip. This insurance should also cover any health concerns related to the workshops, including injury or accidents.
We are not responsible for any personal injuries or accidents during the Retreat, though we will take all reasonable steps to ensure safety and provide a safe learning environment.
6. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for arranging their transportation to and from Marrakech, including flights and any necessary visas.
Participants must inform us in writing of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special needs at least 14 days before the Retreat starts.
Participants agree to comply with all safety and consent protocols during the workshops. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or unsafe by the instructors or event organisers may result in removal from the Retreat without a refund.
7. Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the Retreat.
The Shibari workshops can be physically demanding. If you have any medical conditions, you must consult a healthcare professional before participating. Please inform the organisers of any concerns upon booking
8. Our right to cancel or reschedule
8.1 We may cancel any Retreat due to events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8.2 Although we rarely do so, we may also reschedule any Retreat at any time. We may also change the location or content of any Retreat and/or substitute the instructor (s) for a Retreat for another at any time.
If we do cancel, reschedule or make any changes as described in clauses 8.1 and 8.2 above, we will notify you by telephone or by email and will endeavour to do so as soon as possible after making those changes. We will refund you the price of a Retreat you have booked or, if applicable, the affected part of it (for example, the cancelled day) if:
We cancel all or part of the Retreat per clause 8.1 or because a change to the content of the Retreat under clause 8.2 means that we are no longer able to accommodate your or your attendees’ dietary requirements;
You have informed us at the time of booking of your or your attendees’ special dietary requirements, but we have not notified you that the Retreat you would like to book is not actually suited to your and/or your attendees’ dietary requirements;
We reschedule or relocate all or part of the Retreat under clause 8.2, and you or any member of your party is unable to attend as a result of the rescheduling or relocation of the Retreat.
We will not reimburse you for travel or accommodation costs related to a cancelled, changed, or rescheduled Retreat.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information to administer your participation in the Retreat. We will not share your data with any third party without your explicit consent, except as required to manage bookings with the venue or other necessary logistics.
10. Agreement
By registering for the retreat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms form a binding agreement between you (the Participant) and us (the Organizers).
If you have a problem or issue during the retreat, please inform one of the event organisers immediately; they will endeavour to make things right. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest sharing your accommodation.
